WHAT'S YOUR OBJECTIVE?
The Beginner's Guide to Writing Measurable Objectives

If you don't know where you want to go, how will you ever know if you got there? In instructional design methodology the objective is used as a goal post for training. If the student can do what the objective states, in the way it states it, and within the defined parameters, then the goal of the training program has been achieved.

This session will introduce the content developer to the art of writing clear, measurable objectives.

During this session we will cover:

  • The three (or five!) parts of an objective
  • How to ensure your objective is measuable
  • Common pitfalls in objective writing.
